One person dead and eight others had to go to the hospital because of unknown substances in the bathroom at the McDonald's in Pooler. And no one can tell us what it was or how it even got there. What kind of craziness is that? It's one thing to hear about things like this happening across the country, but it hits a little close to home when this place is only 15 minutes from where I live. Makes me afraid to ever go in a bathroom not my own. And now the latest update on the scene is carbon dioxide leak from the soda machines. SODA=DEATH! Wow. Please let me know your thoughts on this matter. I would love to hear them.

Let There Be Light
Sunday night there were rolling black outs on Wilmington Island which is not uncommon but the funny thing was it wasn't even storming yet. My boyfriend happens to live out there and he said that it was so dark outside you couldn't even see the hand in front of your face. When I spoke to his mom about it she said that in her whole time living here, which has been over 26 years, she had never seen anything like it. The blackouts ranged from all the way to the bridge to get to Tybee Island until Victory Drive. I mean there have been some pretty bad storms here including Hurrican Floyd which hit in 1999 and yet nothing like this she said she had ever witnessed. Curious as to what happened I turned to the news the next day on the Savannah Morning News website. They stated that the power was out due to the storm which seems off considering it hadn't even started raining yet according to Georgia Power. And now when I tried to post the link to the article on here it is no longer on their website. Would it kill somebody to let us know what really happened that night because I for one am quite interested.
